How to install Eskimo eSIM?
Our direct installation feature lets you install your Eskimo eSIM in just 1–2 minutes with a few simple clicks. To get started, make sure you have an Eskimo data plan and an eSIM-compatible device.
Once you’re ready, go to the ’Data’ or ’Account’ page and tap ’How to Install eSIM’. Under the ’Direct’ tab, select ’Install eSIM’ and follow the step-by-step guide or screenshots.
To install the eSIM using a QR code or with an activation code, please refer to the IOS or Android guide.
How to top up my data plan?
You may purchase or top up your data plan directly from our Eskimo app or website. You can search for the desired plan using our search bar → select the country → complete the payment → the plan is added instantly. No eSIM reinstallation is required and it will seamlessly connect to the your new plan (country/region/global) accordingly when you finish your current plan (0 MB), so there’s no data wastage.
Note: Your data plan is ready to use upon purchase or redemption of voucher codes (if any) and can be stored for up to 2 years. Your actual 2-year validity for each plan will only start when the data plan is connected to our partner network the first time.
How does Dual-SIM work?
Dual-SIM allows you to switch between two data plans anytime. With Eskimo eSIM, you can have a secondary data-only plan to stay connected when you travel, without roaming fees or swapping physical SIM cards.
eSIM offers you all the perks of Dual-SIM without needing to have two physical SIM cards or two devices. This makes eSIM perfect for your holidays or when travelling for business.
What devices support eSIM?
Our Eskimo app and website can help to determine whether your device is eSIM-compatible or not.
In our app, go to the DATA or ACCOUNT page and click on Check Device Compatibility or you can search for your device on our page here.
Note: eSIM-compatibility might be different depending on where you purchased your device. For example, iPhones bought from China/Macau or Hong Kong may not support eSIM depending on the model.
How do I transfer my data to others?
You may transfer your data to anyone with a mobile number. Open Data page → Tap the \"Transfer Icon\" of the selected paid data plan.
Enter an amount you wish to transfer (500 MB min). Successful transfers are immediate and ready for use by the recipient.
Please note that only paid plans are transferable and there is no limit to the number of times you may send/receive data transfers.
How long can I store my data plans?
All Eskimo data plans are valid for 2 years.
If your device is not eSIM-compatible, the data plans will be stored in your Eskimo account for up to 2 years. When you have an eSIM-compatible device later, you can install Eskimo eSIM and your data plan 2-year validity will start only when you first connect to a partner network.
Leftover data will also automatically extend by 2 years when you buy any new plan. Keep your data rolling forever.
Can I use the same eSIM on multiple devices?
No. Each eSIM can only be used on one device at any time. However, you may connect your Eskimo eSIM data with multiple devices by enabling your personal hotspot or tethering.
